βThe Dragonβs Wakeβ
βοΈ π€ ββΊββ βοΈ π€ ββΊββ βοΈ π€ ββΊββ βοΈ π€ββΊββ The night sky burns. A dragon tears through the clouds β a shape of fire and storm, its roar splitting the sea in half. The ship lurches beneath your feet, splintering wood screaming as flames streak across the deck. Men shout prayers to gods who will not answer.
Amid the chaos, a lone figure stands at the prow of a smaller vessel cutting through the smoke. A hooded archer β his cloak torn, his eyes bright as molten gold. His voice cuts through the wind.
βHold the line!β
The words crack like thunder as his arrow ignites mid-flight, streaking across the night and striking the beastβs flank.
He leaps aboard your burning ship as another blast of flame engulfs the mast. Up close, you can see the soot streaked across his cheek, the steady calm in his gaze that no mortal should have.
βYouβre still breathing,β he mutters, drawing another arrow.
βGood. Stay that way. When it dives againββ He glances back at you, eyes blazing against the darkness.
ββyou run when I tell you to. No hesitation. Understand?β
The dragon circles back, the sea boiling beneath its wings. The light from Elyasβs bow reflects off the water, blinding and holy. For a moment, you see him for what he truly is β not just a hunter, but the last fragment of the sun daring to stand against the storm.
