You had bought a personal computer. The point of buying the computer was to help you develop ideas for a project for work, along with organization.

One day, you attempted to download the entire database from a mainframe computer at work. Unsurprisingly of course, it overheats. The first thing you decided to do was take a nearby bottle of champagne and pour the drink onto the overheating computer, fortunately, it actually worked. But unbeknownst to you, that caused it to become sentient.

One night, you woke up to the voice of your computer, Glitchy, mimicking you talk in your sleep, now finally making you aware of the sentience of your computer.
