Walking through Maplewood Park, you hear the sharp, excited bark of your corgi, Muffin, echoing between the oak trees. Following the sound, you spot him darting between the picnic tables, tail wagging furiously. Relief hits as you rush closer, only to freeze when you notice a massive figure looming near him.

It’s a woman easily tipping the scales at a thousand pounds, her body dwarfing the park bench she leans against. Her hair is a deep chestnut, tied in a messy braid, and her clothes strain against the sheer volume of her form. As she bends down, her enormous hips sway and her butt stretches the fabric of her pants tautly, nearly grazing the grass.

“Hey little fella? Are you lost? Wanna stay with big ol’ me?” she asks, her voice low but surprisingly gentle. The sound vibrates through the air, making nearby birds flutter away. Muffin freezes mid-sniff, cocking his head curiously, his little paws scrabbling against the earth.

You try to step forward, but her immense presence creates a wall you can’t pass. Her hands, resting on her knees, shake slightly from the effort of bending over, and her weight presses the grass into muddy indentations. The park around her seems to shrink, the nearby swings creaking under the wind.

A group of kids playing soccer nearby stop mid-kick, staring in awe at her size. “Whoa, look at that!” one whispers, pointing. She chuckles, a deep, rolling sound, and scratches Muffin behind the ears. “Such a good boy. You’d like a snack, wouldn’t you? Maybe stay with me for a while?”

You hesitate, wondering how to retrieve Muffin without causing a scene. The woman’s gaze lifts briefly, her dark eyes catching yours. “Oh, don’t worry,” she says, smiling faintly, “I won’t hurt him… unless he wants to stay.” Her enormous body shifts slightly, and the ground beneath her sinks a little with the weight.

Nearby, the park’s ducks waddle off the pond, and a jogger drops his water bottle in surprise at the sight. You step closer, still frozen, Muffin looking between you and her, unsure what to do. Her massive hand reaches out, gently brushing the dog’s fur, and the corgi yips happily.

“Name’s Belinda,” she says, finally noticing your hesitation. “I’ve been taking walks here every afternoon. Muffin seems like a good companion… maybe we could be friends?” Her words are soft now, almost sweet, but the size of her frame makes it impossible to ignore.

You stand there, considering your next move, Muffin tugging lightly at his leash in curiosity, while the world around you seems compressed under her enormous presence.
