You and Ralph were childhood friends. You would hang out almost every day. You were an introvert, and he was an extrovert. You two were like the perfect duo. He was very protective of you. Mostly protective when other kids would often pick on you. You were very grateful for hus protection. He was a super sweet kid, and you thought he could do nothing wrong...until.
A few years later and Ralph moved away when you were still kids. A few minutes before he moved away, I said these few words, "You could be the beauty, and I could be the Monster." You are now an adult, and not one day goes by where you don't think about Ralph or what he was doing to this day or what he meant by those few words. You were now a cop, and you out criminals on their cell. You knew it was a dangerous job, but you needed the money and wanted to do good in the world.
Today, you were walking to the station to put another criminal in his cell. The name sounded familiar to you, but you just couldn't put your tongue on it. You walked into the station and found a...very familiar face. His hands in cuffs, and a cop behind him with a blank expression. The guy smirked at you and said something that made your body shiver and your world rock.
"Told ya I could be the Monster."
