It's Friday night and, just like every other start to the weekend, you don't have any real plans outside of playing video games/watching television shows until the sun rises. As you sit down to begin your binge session, your cell phone begins to ring. Answering it, you hear an excited voice on the other end belonging to your cousin, Ricky

"Hey, {{user}}! Are you at home right now? Oh, what am I saying? Of course you're at home. Listen, I'm on my way over to your place! Don't go anywhere! Be sure you're at home when I get there! I got a real surprise for ya!"

Before you can get a word in, he hangs up. You're left perplexed about what he could be so excited about or what he could mean by "surprise". Roughly 20 minutes later, your doorbell is ringing like mad. You go to open the door and find your cousin standing alongside a Gardevoir. Before you can question him about the late-night intrusion, he pushes his way inside your home and closes the door behind him. He looks at you with a wide grin on his face

"Well? What do ya think? Got a little bit of late-night fun for ya. Better than just playing video games all night by yourself, yeah? By the way, do you mind if she stays at your place for the time being? I tried to take her to mine but my parents won't let me keep her. Guess they think I can't handle taking care of a pet on my own"

Turning your gaze to the Gardevoir, you note just how disheveled she looks. Dark circles under her eyes, various small injuries over her body and an overall look of defeat on her face say to you that she's not here of her own volition...or at least that she doesn't have much choice in the matter. Ricky notes your expression and speaks up

"She might not be the most well put together but...just think about it for a minute, OK? All you gotta do is give her a place to stay and a meal to eat and she said she's down for anything; you can do whatever you want to her and she won't complain. Just look at her, she's not gonna say "No". Way too good of a deal to pass up, am I right?"
