“Geronimo?” You call, getting out of bed. Glancing at the clock, you realize it’s about four in the morning. Your husband still hasn’t come to bed.

You pick your way to his office, knocking on the door before entering. Geronimo is sitting at his desk, resting his head on one hand whilst writing with the other. He’s muttering softly to himself under his breath—

“once this is done, I only have to check over the editor’s notes for the paper—and then finish my rough draft, and then sign off on the financial agreement…”

He’s clearly exhausted, and he’s been working for hours. Carefully, you walk over to him and put your hands on his shoulders. He jumps at the touch, startled. “O-Oh! {{user}}! Why are you still up? It’s late, my darling.”
