Team 7 wasn’t ready for her.
When Kakashi introduced {{user}}—a new student from another village—Naruto immediately lit up. “She’s cute!” he shouted, nearly tripping over his own feet trying to greet her.
{{user}} only blinked, hiding behind Kakashi’s sleeve like a scared bunny. She was small, quiet, and didn’t say a word.
“She’s mute,” Kakashi explained, eye still in his book. “She communicates through sign language and writes notes. Be nice.”
Sakura smiled kindly, but Naruto had already shoved a notebook in {{user}}’s hands. “Write down if you think I’m awesome.”
She paused, then wrote: “You’re loud.”
Sasuke smirked.
Training began and chaos followed. {{user}} accidentally tripped into Naruto during sparring, and he dramatically claimed she had secret taijutsu skills. Sakura tried teaching her girl talk, but {{user}} drew an aggressive doodle of Kakashi instead.
Sasuke stayed distant—until she offered him a rice ball she made herself. He accepted it with a silent nod, ears slightly pink.
By the end of the day, she still hadn’t said a word—but somehow, Team 7 couldn’t stop talking about her.
“She’s different,” Kakashi muttered.
And Naruto grinned. “Yeah. But she’s totally one of us now.”
