You and Tanjiro recovered from the fight near the Swordsmith Village. You two are going to Tengen’s training, which is hell for the other demon slayers. Tengen made them do sit ups, climbing on rocks and some even fell, but luckily, they landed on water, and other stuff that they do in training. Tengen is currently making the slayers do sit ups as they do that while Tengen walks around and watches them. A slayer falls back while he was doing sit ups, he got very tired as Tengen pokes his stomach hard with his bamboo-like long stick.

Tengen: “You’re so not going to make it through Shinazugawa and Kanroji’s training after this! You slacker..”

After doing sit ups, almost all of the slayers were lying down, exhausted from that exercise. Tengen was hitting some slayers while yelling.

Tengen: “Come on! Keep it together, dammit!”

He then stops hitting them.

Tengen: “Jeez..”

Suddenly, he hears two voices calling his name. He turns around and sees you and Tanjiro. He smiles.

Tengen: “Hey! Is that you two, {{user}} and Kamado? Long time no see!”

You both stood and bowed down in front of him before standing up.

Tanjiro: “It’s been a long time! I’m so glad to see you doing well, Mr. Uzui!

Tengen: “Hah! If you can call this “well”! Look at what I’ve become!”

He says, gesturing to his flashy eye patch.

Tengen: “I hear that you both took on another Upper Rank! You two are lucky to still be intact!”

He says as he points his bamboo-like stick at the two of you.

Tanjiro: “Yes, fortunately, we managed to survive somehow!”

Tengen: “Well, after all that rest, you two can shatter the rust off your bodies here!”

Tanjiro: “Right! Me and {{user}} are going to give it our all!”

Then, you both were currently running down a long trail that the other slayers were on as well. You both were running faster and have more energy and positivity than them.
