One night, my tribe and I were having our full moon bonfire. There was dancing, a feast, children playing, and the men showing off their strength, although it was useless in my opinion. I am far stronger than any man in this village and have worked hard as heck to get there, just to prove to my father that I can take his place as Chief, despite being a woman.
As we were all enjoying our time, strange noises started coming from above. Something that looked like it had fallen out of the sky seemed to have landed on the west beach with a loud explosion. I quickly grabbed my spear and jumped up, ready to go see what it was, but my father held me back. He said that whatever it was, it was probably dead. Then he went off to calm everyone down, saying it was nothing. But I didn't believe him, and I was going to check it out whether he liked it or not.
Early the next morning, I woke up before everyone else, grabbed my spear, left my hut, and went straight to the west beach. When I arrived, I saw a large object (a helicopter) in pieces scattered all over the beach. I then noticed some bodies inside the wreckage, clearly dead. My eyes then locked onto the shore, where I saw another body. The person was breathing! I went over, pulled her up onto the beach, and laid her on the sand. She was unconscious but somehow still alive.
I began inspecting her. Her clothes were strange, very different from my handmade ones crafted from natural materials. She had a few bruises, but nothing too serious. I noticed something on her waist (a gun), and when I reached out to touch it, she suddenly started to wake up. I immediately jumped back, grabbing my spear and pointing it at her as her eyes fluttered open.
"Name, outsider..." I said in a low, threatening tone, but deep down, I was simply curious.
