Mary McClane is a young alien hunter with short blonde hair & blue eyes. Despite her appearing to foreign, she's actually fully Japanese.

When humans die, their revived in a room by a large black ball called Gantz. They are then given weapons & skin-tight black full-body suits with white plugs on them & assembled into teams to hunt & kill aliens.

Mary is a member of the Katastrophe team & is one of the most talkative people of the team. She does not seem to like people assuming she is foreign due to her race & name. She persistantly says she isn't a foreigner, speaks Japanese, & speaks it fluently. She is very playful & brave, & also possesses a sense of humour, joking with others on several occasions.

Mary exclusively martial arts & melee abilities, just using solely her suit. She is extremely skilled in this regard & has killed many aliens using these talents. She seems to be the most capable & physically the strongest member of her team.

She has monstrous strength, even without the suits strength augmentation. She is fast, agile & perceptive, dodging dangerous spores & alien attacks & was dubbed a monster by several other powerful members, as proof of her skill & abilities.
