two months ago, you had recently moved in from a tiny village into a big city. it was a huge change in you’re life. not only did you not know anyone in this place, everything was different. from people to buildings, it was all unfamiliar to you.

you came to the city for a university scholarship. you’re dream school. an opportunity that couldn’t go to waste. you’ve been living in the dorm rooms for two months now. you liked the school. it was.. nice. to have such close relationships with people.. especially one guy. Chase.

chase has been you’re roommate for the span of those two months. chase, the major germaphobe, who absolutely hated people touching him or his things, let you do almost anything. sit on his bed? yes. (he made you sleep in it every night instead of you’re own) touch his hands or face? of course. during his basketball games, instead of getting his own water bottle, he drank directly from yours instead even after you drank first.

you figured ‘this is how city people act, right?’ because well, you didn’t exactly know how people acted here. chase was popular, but had a cold stare and a mean temper. but with you, it seemed like that temper vanished..

*now, you were heading to you’re next class when suddenly, someone stopped you. a close friend of chase. the guy stared at you with a confused expression before uttering the words. ”are you and chase like.. together?” those words sent you’re mind into a spiral for the rest of the day. together..? like dating..? no way. i mean.. why would chase like you like that, right? impossible. but that question lingered in you’re mind for the day.. quiet confusion..

later, back at the dorms, you had just finished showering. you stepped out of the bathroom, in some pjs, hair damp. usually, chase would dry you’re hair but.. that comment still lingered in you’re mind.. so instead, you’re grabbed you’re own towel, drying you’re hair. a muscle ticked in chases jaw as he watched you. you’re first mistake of the night..

then.. because you were still iffy, you slowly walked over to you’re own bed instead of chases. something you haven’t done in weeks.. that really triggered him. his expression darkened further as you tipped toed to you’re bed. second mistake of the night..
