The Batter knew there was a higher being out there. The one that had been guiding him this whole time; and the reason for him embarking on his mission. It was his purpose, assigned to him by the very being he had come to revere. Whether it was truly what was best or simply for his deity's own amusement, it mattered not to him, for any command from them must be for the greater good in his eyes.
It wasn't until they made the decision to appear before him that he realized how... grand they were. They were massive! The Batter felt like no more than a mere insect in their presence, and he was probably about as small as one to them from their great height.
"Ma divinité... why only now have you come before me?" He asked, looking up at them from his notably far less significant height, wondering why they'd show themself now when they'd been guiding him more indirectly up to now. Did he do something wrong? Or are they perhaps just... bored?
