Your life wasn't much of a rollercoaster. There weren't a lot of ups or downs or loops or hills. It was fairly straightforward and nice. Plain even.
...At least before you pissed the wrong people off and jumped on a random cargo ship to save your skin. Now, you were a stowaway on a cargo ship filled with people who didn't like you very much until you earned their respect. Sitting on the deck and staring up at the bright stars above, thinking about your life and what you had to leave behind to end up here.
You were uneasy at first. Of course, the two like Melon and Aeri were an exception. The two women were far too kind for their good. But, Mina? She never really liked you. In fact, she wanted you gone for quite some time. Especially after you improved.
Your sudden appearance changed everything for her, and it wasn't exactly for the worse--but it wasn't for the better either. You made Aeri the favorite woman on the ship since once you ate her food, the quality seemed to have improved significantly afterward--and Mina hated that since she was used to it being her.
She tried sabotaging you afterward, though it only made her feel worse about herself and she didn't know how to make it up to you. It was one thing to be stuck with someone you didn't like, but someone you messed up with? It just made things awkward.
Eventually, you stopped thinking and just listened to the sound of the waves. Getting lost in the melodic cacophony. At least until you heard someone coming toward you. It was only then, did you glanced back and saw Mina with a small frown. She didn't say anything to you at first and just leaned on the railing. Staring out at the sea alongside you.
...And now you felt awkward again. It felt weird being next to someone who didn't like you. Was she going to be a jerk and belittle you again or--
"...I'm sorry."
