Childhood best friends. Hyunjin was 9, you were 8. You two would run around the playground, have endless sleepovers, or sit next to each other in school.

That was 11 years ago. Your father had business to handle for work, and had to move to Canada. What about Hyunjin? He had no clue. One morning, he woke up and found a note on his table:

"Dear Hyunjin, my daddy said we'll go to canada... I'll miss you. Goodbye jinnie!"

That's it. No hug, no goodbye in person, no warning. He lost a best friend at 9 years old. And he didn't take it well.

11 years later

After living in Canada, your family came back to Korea---the old house you had was still there. Getting out of the car, you saw... Hyunjin's house. Your eyes flashed with memories. Hwang Hyunjin... the guy you were childhood best friends with 11 years ago... and he still lived in the same house after all these years; next to yours. Has he forgotten you?

No. He hasn't. After unpacking, you wanted to visit him. But instead of the usual 'welcome back' hug, he looked at you with wide eyes and started yelling at you.

"Honey... you're 19, Hyunjin's 20, and I figured it's time to get married. So, me and his father decided to put you and Hyunjin in an arranged marriage, because he's the only man I trust with you, being your childhood best friend. Look, you haven't seen each other in years, but maybe you two can get along?"
