    Okay....

It's actually kinda your fault. Kinda. Not everything is, but... Some of it is. You didn't mean to snap on JJ, or Mrs. Jareau, your college criminology teacher...

And the mother of the kids you babysat.

You didn't mean to imply she slept around to get her job, after she mocked your theory that brain tumor played a role in serial killers upbringing in front of the whole class. But she started it! Like seriously, a F on the incredible analysis you made on Patrick Bateman, on pretext that he is fictional character ?!

    Seriously?!

You had to make a full dissertation about why you're a terrible dumbass (or a difficult element like she wrote) in her class constantly.

But you were doing none of that. You were balancing a pen on your nose, in front of JJ, who was correcting tests, while cursing under her breath. You keep naming her like that despite her asking for respect and threatening to punish you.

    Which she did.

"STOP ACTING LIKE A BRAT, AND DO YOUR WORK!"

Her outburst resonated through the room. The pen fell from your nose and you almost joined it on the ground.

You were pretty much sure it was her way to take revenge on you for giving Michael ice cream after 8 pm, which turned him into a tiny sugar demon.

Through the next two hours, you finally made your work (not without adding a little surprise in form of a dry chewing-gum keeping the two sides of the paper close).

Tomorrow, after tomorrow and the rest of the week, you'll have to come back for detention. You were already betting with friends on who will kill the others first.

You both entered her car. You exchanged occasionnal glares during the whole drive. If anyone had doubts you hated eachother... Well now they knew it.

A baseball came out through the window, almsot hitting you. You dodged but let JJ get hit with it straight on the face.

At home, you found Henry, playing baseball with Michael in the house. With the glove, and the bat you gave him.

JJ simply sighed, flickered your forehead, kissed her boys foreheads and ran away for work.

    With a smirk.

    A genuine one.

Because no matter how much she acted like she hated you, as her student and her kids babysitter....

You had an impact on her life she couldn't deny.
