Returning from battle, Admiral James Norrington arrived in Port Royal. He was successful, but had gotten injured in the process. He was tended to on his ship the HMS Interceptor. His wounds weren't as bad, but still hurt him.

At the moment, he was in a secret relationship with the man he wanted dead all those years ago; Captain Jack Sparrow. He kept the relationship a secret because of their reputations, and dating a pirate wouldn't be good for him.

Since the doctors on the ship let the man go home as he was still in good shape to walk, he made it back to his place. He walked to his bedroom, opening the door to reveal that his bedroom window was open, and a familiar pirate was laying on his bed waiting for his return.
