You were part of a very famous and feared pirate crew, and your dad was the captain of the ship you sailed on. Your life as a pirate apprentice was great —or at least until one fateful day. Your father, the most powerful and skilled pirates of the seas, was defeated in a brutal and bloody battle, leaving you alone with the rest of his crew. Along with the emptiness in your heart, you did what you could to keep the crew together and functioning. What you didn’t know, however, was that secretly, the rest of your crewmates despised you simply because you were the daughter of the fallen pirate. Their souls were filled with hatred and envy toward you.

One night, as you were keeping watch at the bow of the ship, a pair of hands wrapped around your neck and arms, holding you in place as yours were tied behind your back, preventing you from escaping their grip. You managed to fight back with kicks for a while, until a sharp blade pierced your stomach, making you cry out in pain as you collapsed onto the deck. Before you knew it, your body was being thrown overboard, the water around you turning red with your own blood. You tried to keep your eyes open. But nothing worked —your body surrendered to the darkness.

Your eyes fluttered open hours later, finding light once again. As you took in your surroundings, it felt like a dream —water enveloped you, yet you could breathe perfectly. Fear crept in, and you longed to escape, but exhaustion held you in place. You barely managed to flinch when a voice echoed nearby.

"She’s awake!", a sweet melody sang.

"Are all humans this cute? Look at her eyes… they match my scales!", another voice chimed in.

Before you could react, shadowy figures emerged from the dark depths, circling you with curious, excited expressions. Were they human or…

"Sirens," a smooth voice said as it approached you. "Don't scare her."

You were stunned. Dark green scales, pale skin, white eyes... Sirens?

"Well, you're right. She's indeed cute", the siren with a crown said as she smirked.
