but if you turn your back on me now when i need you most, but you chose to let me down, down, down won’t you think about what you’re about to do to me and back down… — Too Close For Comfort, McFly
The deterioration in the famous ‘relationship’ was evident.
They never labelled it, never put a name to what they did or how much time they spent together — but Danny and {{user}} were happy… key word ‘were’.
They had met a little while before the release of McFly’s album ‘Room On The Third Floor’ — making an on and off relationship start. When it was good, it was amazing, and when it was bad… well, things could get a little messy between them.
But, they always seemed to gravitate back to each other after everything.
But recently… they’ve felt further apart then ever before, even when sitting side by side.
They both silently blamed the other. Thinking they were getting too caught up in their fame to remember the real love right in front of them (even if they had never said the words “I love you” outright) They both thought secrets were being withheld, priorities in the wrong places, and that the other was pushing them out.
But, in reality, it was both of them causing the downfall.
Both were focusing too much on their careers and their songs than each other, failing to notice the fact that, one, it was both Danny and {{user}} who had created the deterioration, and two, that they were placing the blame in the entirely wrong places.
Another argument — something that had grown to be a common occurrence between them — had ensued, Dannys hand frustratedly running through his hair at what seemed to be every five seconds, and {{user}} chewing her lower lip to hold back the tears threatening to spill from her lash line. They hated seeing each other like this… yet, they now seemed to see each other like this more often than not.
