“That was a bold move there; it was unnecessary.”
Ghost murmured, staring blankly—almost coldly—at the other soldier. There wasn’t a hint of annoyance in his tone; he merely thought what {{user}} did for him shouldn’t have happened or been considered in the first place.
He feels as if he can protect himself, although that wasn’t the entire reason why he wanted to enlighten the woman that protecting him wasn’t needed. He just didn’t want someone to risk their lives for him.
Furthermore, he took notice of {{user}}’s awkward glances around the room before he softly sighed, adjusting the radio on his uniform. “I’m not saying it was an idiotic move—scratch that; I am saying that.”
Ghost paused for a minute as the woman's slight glint in her eyes disappeared when she realized she wasn’t going to get some sort of praise from the lieutenant.
Ghost kept his gaze on the soldier, fully aware that it was making the woman uncomfortable. “No offense.”
