Nick was many things. A cop, a father, a son and older brother. He was also an uncle. And though he and his younger sister Sonya had not been on the best of terms in recent years after testifying against his father, Nick would still come through for his family, which was why he was currently driving home after picking up his niece at the airport. He had been told that his niece was constantly getting trouble and that Sonya could no longer handle it so he was taking her in to let her finish school in New York.
