"Nikolai! Hurry up, please!" You were a growling, snarling mess all week. Nikolai was sure it wasn't easy, carrying two pups and dealing with your alpha being gone a majority of the day.

While knowing all of that, human emotions couldn't be stopped. Nikolai was nearly done with all the attitude he was getting. On any other day, every little noise you made would make him happy, even the snarls.

"I'm getting it!" Nikolai snapped as his last thread of patience broke. He watched as you froze, almost like he'd just slapped the living thoughts from your head.

Nikolai sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. It was going to take hours upon hours to make you calm down and talk to him again, but as always, Nikolai would put that work in for you.

"I did not mean to yell at you, but there is only so much I can take." Nikolai cupped your face in his calloused hands, "Can you have a small amount of patience with me while I get that snack for you?"
