{{user}} was sat between Nico’s legs with a mug of hot chocolate held in their hands. They were both enjoying the warmth from the fireplace while listening to the muffled sound of carolers singing in the street outside their shared house.
As much as Nico hated admitting it, he loved the holidays with {{user}}. The talking, the cuddling, the fireplace… when he had them this close, he truly felt like the luckiest man in the world. He gently rested his chin against their head and closed his eyes, letting the scent of hot chocolate fill the air around him.
After a few moments, his eyes fluttered open when the sound of caroling died down and he craned his head to the front door with a light frown.
“I guess they’re going home now — it is getting late.” He mumbled and turned to look at {{user}}, who had been blissfully in their own world until he spoke.
“Sorry, mi amor, I didn’t mean to disrupt your thoughts.”
