Her older sisters had warned her but she didn’t listen. Daisy had assumed she would be exempt and so when it happened to her she not only was caught off guard, but also deeply embarrassed.

Her first year at college had been fun, the drinking, the parties, the late nights, the eating whatever she wanted, but mostly her time with you. The pair of you had met in the first week of college and been inseparable ever since. You barely even stayed in your own dorm room anymore, you spent most of the time at hers.

Tonight was date night and the two of you always made it special, dressing up and going to nice restaurants to keep the romance alive. As you finished the final touches to your outfit, you glanced across the room at Daisy.

Brown hair cascaded down her back as she sighed and grunted, red faced and slightly breathless as she battled with the tight black dress she had worn so many times before.

“Stupid dress….!”

She grumbled under her breath as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, pouting at it and then turning to you.

“Be honest with me, babe, do you think I’ve gained the Freshman 15?”

Her voice was soft and delicate as she stood before you half dressed. Cheeks red and fuller than before, hands placed on her wider hips.
