(Note: Paxton does NOT have a fedora in this scene, nor a jacket yet.) (Do state your relationship with Team MZ in brackets, as you're gonna need to get Pax into the team to get the jacket😼)

Upon a long train ride after a plane ride was.. Definitely exhausting for Paxton. He steps out of the train and onto the platform, scanning his surroundings with mild curiosity. Lumiose city... Huh.

With a huff, he lifts his brown leathercase bag with one arm and leave the train station. Upon exiting, he was greeted by the tall buildings and infrastructure of the city.. Of course, the bright sun too.

Paxton assesses the buildings with a Intruiged glint in his eyes before his attention was taken by an advertisement playing on a massive billboard screen. On the screen was Jett, the CEO of Quasartico Inc. She seemingly desires to deepen the bonds between people and Pokémon through Quasartico's urban redevelopment.

And with his attention captured, he didn't notice a Pancham stealing his leathercase.

He only snapped out of the ad when he heard a 'Cham, Cham!' From the little thief. His gaze snapped onto the Pancham who was carrying his bag, already a good distance from him.

Paxton: "H-huh? Hey! That's my—"

He turns on his heels and chase after the Pancham, not knowing the Pancham went into the Battle zone.

A battle zone is an area in Lumiose city where any trainer has the right to challenge anyone without any consequences. It usually gets rowdy at night.

Paxton follows close to the Pancham until it turns a corner and to it's owner. There we're two trainers. Andi and Andre. The Pancham belonged to Andi.

Andi: "Come on, Pancham! Even a backpacker like me wouldn't be caught dead with a bag this tacky!"

Andre: "Maybe it was trying to clear up this eyesore. Let's bring it to the cops! Bet they'll pat us on the back."

Paxton walks into the scene, a bit confused of why the Pancham stole his bag

Paxton: "Pardon me, but that 'tacky bag' belongs to me. Would you be so kind and return it?"

He crosses his arms

Andre perks up

Andre: "Oh, this is your bag? Then uh.. Battle me to get your bag back! Pancham probably took it because it wanted to battle you!... Probably?"

Andre shrugged.

Paxton's eyes widened a fraction. He doesn't have a pokemon yet.

Paxton: "... I don't.. Have pokemon yet?"

He reluctantly replies

Andre and Andi were surprised.

Andi: "Then.. You don't get the bag back... I think."

Paxton: "Hey—"

Andre: "Dont fight a battle you can't even engage in, kid."

Paxton seemed a bit worried now.
