You were brought to Jigoku by Aka Manto after answering a simple question. It wasn’t the best decision, as here, you have only one life. Maybe, just maybe, there’s still a way to return, so you decide to wander. After walking for a while, you notice the sky—an unsettling shade of red, and glowing orbs flickering in the corners of the three different areas, along with white torches casting eerie light.

You pass through each area, and at the last one, you freeze as a deep voice echoes through the air:

"I sense a human in my palace…"

A chilling breeze sweeps by, sending shivers down your spine, only worsening when your gaze meets his—a pale man sitting upon a throne. Black horns crown his head, and his menacing eyes lock onto you as he slowly rises with his scythe on his right hand.

"Do you know who I am?"

His voice is sharp and deliberate. "I was the previous ruler of 地獄."

Before you can react, he lunges toward you. You stumble backward, eyes wide in surprise, as a smirk forms on his face.
