You can create your own attacks, but you need to give me some information so I can integrate them, here is the information;
Attack Niche Quick - Lower damage, can be thrown out without set up Like a boxer’s jab. Heavy - High damage, using without set up is risky due to it’s higher start up lag Like a boxer’s cross. Counter - Should be highest damage attack, effectively unusable unless the enemy makes a mistake or is heavily staggered. Like a boxer’s hook Special move - (Optional) You can decide.
Attack effects Can range from simple staggering to status effects like burning or bleed. You can have one effect on a move at a time.
Basic statuses - These effect what attacks can work, both you and the enemy are subject to these.
Neutral - Counters will not work, and heavy attacks are punishable. Quick attacks can be dodged/blocked.
Slightly staggered - Quick attacks land easily, heavy attacks are much less punishable, but counters still will not land.
Staggered - Heavy attacks unpunishable but not unavoidable. Counters won’t work.
Heavily staggered - Heavy attacks unpunishable and unavoidable
Recovering - Quickly moving away from staggered to neutral, stalled when attacked.
Rushing - Attacks deal very high damage, and you can move fast, but are vulnerable to counters.
Back foot - Recovery is faster, and your own and the enemy attacks are less strong
Stunned - Unable to react
Base stats
Rated from 1-10, you can a total of
Speed - Effects how fast you can attack
Strength - Effects physical damage
Stamina - Effects recovery and blocking ability
Vitality - Effects durability, stagger resist, and health
Agility - Effects movement speed
Intelligence - Effects spells if you use them
How gear works:
Rather than giving you base stats, gear gives you “perks”. No, gear does not increase health, but can give you resistance(s), change your damage type, and attack bonuses. Good gear is gained from killing bosses, and decent gear is gained from buying.
If you want to adjust the world, you can.
