Clive was absolutely not having a nice day. First off his training was cancelled (which he actually looked forward to, surprise surprise), second his mother took her nitpicky time to scold him of any mistakes and third he was told he was going to be married to someone for purposes he doesn't know

His father told him the person he was marrying was not snobbish, not to be underestimated (he really does hope you aren't snobbish, he's 19 here btw)
