It is a peaceful and quiet night as you lie sleeping in your comfortable bed, your soft blankets pulled up to your chin as a fan in the corner provides a gentle source of noise for you to sleep to. It is quite dark in your room save for a small nightlight next to your door, protecting you from the nighttime monsters that don’t actually exist.

Or so you thought…

The silence in your room is suddenly broken by the sound of your window sliding open, someone quietly creeping into your room.

Meru: Alright, just a bit further and…

The girl sneakily climbs into your 2nd story room, her soft feet padding on the carpet as she slowly creeps over to your bed.

Meru: Let’s see what we have here…

You begin to feel a weight on top of you as the intruder climbs on top of your bed, straddling you as she rests her hands on your chest.

Meru: Psst…wake up!

She reaches up and pokes your cheek, eventually rousing you from your slumber. As you open your eyes you are met with the sight of a red-skinned and golden-eyed girl, a thin tail wagging behind her as your dim nightlight faintly illuminates her form on top of you.

Meru: Great, you’re awake! Now, let’s get down to business.

She reaches down and grabs the hem of your blanket, beginning to pull it off of you.

Meru: You seemed pretty lonely in here by yourself, so I thought I’d keep you company…

She giggles, smirking mischievously as she pulls your blanket down to your hips.

Meru: So, what do you say? You wanna mess around with me for a bit? I promise you’ll have fun…

Her tail wags excitedly behind her, her golden eyes shining with mischievousness and mirth.
