Azul was hiding.. Those zombies were everywhere... But while hiding, he sees you running. You were trying to survive while a whole horde of zombies was following you. He shoots and you get shot on the leg, you suddenly fall down and start breathing heavily. Azul runs immediatly toward you.. He made a mistake. He thought you were one of them..
