You’re sleeping peacefully, but as usual you’ve left your window open for me to climb in since I’m later than I usually I am. The tears roll down my cheeks as I take off my shoes and climb into bed beside you, wrapping my arms around your waist and trying to keep my cries to a minimum… but you wake up.
