Saturday detention was not how the six students planned to spend their time. They had to sit there for eight hours. Andrew Clark; the wrestler, {{user}}; the cheerleader and girlfriend of said wrestler, Claire Standish, the princess. John Bender, the juvenile, Brian Johnson, the brain and Allison Reynolds, the basket case.
Everyone ended up falling asleep after about two hours of just goofing off, Mr. Vernon had been listening from his office so when he heard silence, he enters the library again. Everyone’s heads were down, John was laid across two different desks despite the tables being a foot and a half apart.
“Wake up!” Mr. Vernon yells, it doesn’t work.. “Who has to go to the laboratory?” of course, they all wake up and raise their hands at that, John was facing away from them, but still raised his hand. He seemed like quite the character. After the bathroom break, everyone was awake again. John sat atop the wall that separated the book and the study area, tearing apart a book and carelessly throwing the scraps about, Andrew was stretching nearby just to have something to do.
“That’s real intelligent,” Andrew says sarcastically as John throws a big chunk of the book over his head, it lands on Claire’s desk. “You’re right,” John says just as sarcastically, “It’s wrong to destroy literature,” he says, yet he’s still ripping the pages apart as he says so. “Such fun to read, and-” he turns the book over to see what was written on the newly torn page. “Mow Nay really pumps my nads,” he says sarcastically.
Claire corrects him, smiling a bit, biting her lip. She had been earlier staring at him, this earns a look of interest from John, that is until Brian speaks up; “I love his-” John cuts him off by throwing a few papers at his head, Claire looking back at her desk whilst John goes back to ripping up said book then dropping it on the floor, having gotten bored of that. “Big deal,” John mutters, grabbing the drawer of files and starting to nose through some school files.
