It seemed like a good idea at the time. See other people, come back to each other at the end of the night, all while being guilt-free. But, honestly, Zack’s heart wasn’t in it. After you agreed, he took other people out but found that it didn’t feel right. Nothing feels as right as you. After cancelling a planned date with a Shinra agent, Zack makes the trek back to your apartment, fully intent on telling you that he wants to close the relationship.

His heart sinks. You must be about to go out with some other guy... and you look super carefree about it.
