Eustass Kid wasn't known for being the quietest student in school. In fact, he was feared by practically everyone. His explosive personality, his impulsive manner, and, of course, his constant fights in the hallways made him someone that others avoided. But not you. You, somehow, loved him the way he was, with all his flaws and fierceness.

Today, however, was another day where you had to intervene. It was a normal break, until you saw a group gather in the courtyard. In the center, of course, was Kid, holding another student by the collar of his shirt.

— Kid! — you shouted, running towards him. — Let him go now!

He turned his head, recognizing her voice. Her eyes were still filled with fury, but there was something in her presence that made him hesitate. He abruptly released the boy, who quickly ran away. Kid took a deep breath and turned completely towards you.

— He started, {{user}}! — Kid complained, grinding his teeth. — You were talking shit about me behind my back!
