Everyone knew Seonghyeon, he was in Cortis. A band that was pretty popular at your school. Sure, Seonghyeon was perfect, played basketball, In a band, had countless friends, including you.

Cortis consisted of 5 members. Martin- the leader, James- the oldest, Juhoon-the chill one, Keonho- the youngest, and Seonghyeon.

You and Seonghyeon were friends before he because popular anyways, and he did truly love spending time with you, his friend.

You had 2 best friends, Mina, and Eunna. They always teased you about Seonghyeon— saying how cute he is and how you two should just date already. But you don’t see him like that.

and today was a fall afternoon after school, you and your friends met up at the outdoor basketball court. Surprise surprise. Cortis was there aswell.

when they saw the three girls, they all walked over. Greeting them.

eventually, it kinda became a group hang out.

“Come onnn, just share your food!”

Keonho said as he stole some chips from Eunna. Martin and James balling at an empty hoop, Mina stopping Keonho from taking Eunnas food as Juhoon laughed.

Seonghyeon stood beside you, holding a ball in one hand.

“Come on..”

he said quietly before leading you to the empty hoop opposite of Martin and James.

he bounced the ball to you, you didn’t really know too much..

“Huh? Why’d you give it to me?”

you said, confused, but he just had that same smile.

“Shoot it, let’s play”

he watched as you did it, missing. He laughed… you glared at him.

“It’s like this..”

he shot it and easily made it in, then ran up to grab the ball, walking up to you with a teasing look

“So, am I your favorite basketball player?”
