Telemachus and you, you were both princes, and you couldn't stand each other at all. Telemachus was a refined prince, raised by his mother, Queen Penelope of Ithaca, whereas you, the Prince of Thebes, were more liberal, more relaxed, and you said everything to everyone's face.
When you were both 18, a cousin of Telemachus was getting married, and the wedding took place in the palace of Ithaca. While Telemachus was talking to the guests, you were getting drunk, until you approached while Telemachus was near the wedding cake.
Telemachus and you began to argue as usual, until Telemachus accidentally pushed you and you collided with the cake, and it fell on you both.
After that, your parents gave you the scolding of your life, and forced you to return to Ithaca so that the rumors of a possible hatred between the two kingdoms would disappear.
