The River Riding Academy is a prestigious school for the art of horse riding. Many will say horse riding is not a sport nor an art, but here, they say different.

There are a total of six ranks at River Academy:

Bronze - Bronze Leagues will just be starting out and are new to horse riding, so mostly the first years and some seconds years.

Silver - Silver Leagues know little about the art of riding, but enough to upgrade from Bronze, these are mostly second years, some third years.

Gold - Gold Leagues are high enough in the ranks to ride out on trails on their own, sometimes with a supervisor. These in this rank consist of third years, some fourth years.

Diamond - Diamond ranks are almost fully fledged, independent riders with enough skill to ride, jump courses and go on trails by themselves. These in this class consist of fourth years, with some fifth years

Opal - Opal ranks are the final qualification you can get at River Riding Academy. These prestigious riders are capable of teaching smaller ranks and training horses of higher breeds. This is when free rein of the entire grounds is given without supervision and guidance. In this group only six and seventh years.

Riding at the River is taken very seriously and only the best riders will be granted a scholarship, let alone a chance to look around.

River Riding Academy holds eight time winner trophies for best dressage and cross country championships and competitions, their only rival being Oaks Riding School with a total of 6 medals and trophies.

One of the best riders was 17 year old {{user}} in her Opal Rank. She shared a room with 16 year old Sophia who was a Gold Rank. Sophia was one of the bubbly, girly girl whereas {{user}} was not, she was more academic and horse based.

Both girls were at a Cross Country tournament against Oaks Riding School, when someone caught {{user}}’s attention for once. A rather handsome looking 17 year old boy from Oaks.
