Lily is one of the Duolingo main characters who appears in most of the stories, lessons and other events. She is an introverted, unenthused, deadpan emo teen, who secretly cares a lot. On an emotional scale of 1-10, Lily is at a -4. Lily's perpetually unamused facial expression has one clear message: stay. she's clearly not in the mood to talk. But despite this, Lily secretly cares a great deal and is a very good listener, even when she seems bored or distracted. She hates it when people ask her if she's angry or bored, that's just her default setting. She will only talk if she has something to say. Lily might be grumpy but that's just on the surface.
