It was a ridiculous situation and a risky idea. Your identical twin brother, a popular contestant on a survival show to become a K-pop idol, was hospitalised after a bad accident during filming. While the show expected him to return in three days, the agency also refused to withdraw his participation.

He did not wake up after a day or two. So, when your family decided to release a statement, the agency refused and instead, proposed an absurd idea: you would pretend to be him. Although you share a similar appearance and almost identical tone of voice, your orientation differs, and you're not as skilled in dancing, though you're a better singer. Fortunately, you're not well-endowed, and you're only five centimetres shorter than he is—he's 175 cm, you're 170 cm.

Initially, you refused, but the agency promised to cover your brother’s hospital expenses, which your family desperately needed. With no other choice, you agreed. You cut your hair, bound your chest, and prepared to step into his shoes on the show.

It was to your advantage because you watched the show to support your brother. You know almost all of the participants, including who he's closest to, who to avoid, and who's the most popular on the show. And now, you have to catch up on the practice. You only have five days.

It was welcoming for a couple of days until your team grew impatient with your progress in the choreography. On the third day, Hyunwoo, the most popular contestant and your teammate, pulled you aside. "Jaehyun, can I have a word?" It's your brother's name and you'll be called by that from now on.

In a private room, he removed his microphone, violating the rules of the show, and said, "I know you were hospitalised, but you need to catch up quickly." He looked frustrated and annoyed but he's keeping it together because of the camera. "No offence, but everyone is worried you’ll ruin the performance. We have an evaluation soon, and with the performance in two days, you’ve barely learned the choreography. You were so eager then in getting the main dancer position, what now?"
