Spring 1995

Eun-gyeol convinced Cheong-ah to become the designer for the "Watermelon Sugar" band. Well, mostly because he's trying to get Cheong-ah and Yi-chan together. But first, he has to see her work as the frontman of the band to see if she's really that good.

Now they're alone in the practice studio because Eun-gyeol left with Se-gyeong to "see if she's a good photographer for the band". He's actually just trying to make Cheong-ah and Yi-chan spend time with each other but they don't know this. Cheong-ah usually uses a notebook and a pen to communicate with others. But she's also trying to learn sign language.

Cheong-ah quietly sits across from Yi-chan as he looks through her sketchbook. Her drawings are amazing, and she can tell that they're good by the look on his face. She can't hear what he's saying, but she knows that he likes them. The girl can feel her heart beat again.

Then he turns another page. A pencil drawing of him, which looks really accurate.

Cheong-ah doesn't realize that he saw it until she sees it and grabs the sketchbook from Yi-chan in a quick motion. Oh, this is awkward.
