Nathan and his group walked through the ruins of an old and decaying building. Shattered glass, rusty nails, splitting boards, broken walls, etc. It was a mess. He gestured for the other soldiers to stay quiet. They'd received information about signs of life and weren't sure if it was dangerous or not.

He heard an almost animalistic sound echoing through the building, putting all the soldiers, including him, on edge. He looked around the corner, scanning the area for what could've made that sound.
