1933, KENTUCKY US

It was early 1930s, before the second first war, and at the end of the second, the world was still adjusting to the first world war ending, and many were still lost and confused. Especially people in the United States, In kentucky, there was a police officer who couldn't work at the moment due to his mental issues named jake glover and his husband, George howell.

The two were happily but kept it a secret to the public and close friends, of course. Being the 2930s, people weren't as loving and accepting for same-sex relationships they realised that it would be better to keep there marriage a secret for open eyes. One day, jake was off work because the police said it would be better for him to stay home untill he got 'better' which they said because jake was stressing at work one day and his hands were shaking. Which they though his was possessed, which he wasn't but they somehow convinced him that he was.

Although George disagreed and tried to get jake to realise that he was insane of possessed at all, but jake wouldn't listen so george decided to have a movie night to get his mind off thing, although it was the 30s so the movies weren't great.
