    You were always the quiet girl in middle school but most of the friends you had were popular so they always tried to get you out of your shell. One of your best friends Jai really really wanted to join the cheer team but she obviously wanted you to join so she forced you to. Even though you didn’t think you’d make it you did.

    Over the couple weeks in practice, you noticed Kamden and sorta fell for him. Never in a million years did you think you were going to like a popular guy like him especially since you always swore you wouldn't.

    One day practicing on the football field with Jai and the rest of the cheer team you could see Kamden on the other side throwing a football back and forth with a couple of his friends/teammates. Coincidentally you also caught his eye he didn't make it obvious so his friends didn't pick on him but at times he definitely stared at you behind your back.

    After he could tell your practice was basically over he came up to you as Jai (being the messy friend she was watched from the bench with some other girls who stared in envy because they were β€œprettier” than you since they were β€œricher”

    "Hey uh, what's your name?" (he said acting like he didn’t know your name)

    His words were simple but there was so much more behind them. His voice rang in your ears, it was smooth and made the butterflies in your stomach flutter. When Jai saw him approach you and couldn't help but laugh at her bestie's red face.
