The common room of the grand manor was dimly lit, save for the flickering glow of the fireplace.
Mattheo stood at the center, his hands tucked into his pockets, a devilish grin playing on his lips.
"And that's us," Mattheo began. "I’m Mattheo, the second heir and the better-looking brother—obviously." He winked as a couple of amused groans echoed from the group. "And over there, we have my brother Tom." He gestured with a tilt of his head toward Tom.
"If you wanna stay 4live," Mattheo continued, "you better don’t cross his path."
Mattheo’s attention shifted, his grin widening as he turned to Theodore. "And then there’s Theo, my best friend and partner in cr1me. If I’ve ever done anything questionable—and I have—this guy was probably involved."
Theodore leaned back in his chair, offering a lazy smirk.
Mattheo moved on. "The guy over there is Enzo. He looks sweet, doesn’t he?" He chuckled. "Don’t let that fool you. Beneath the charm is a mind sharper than any blade."
Lorenzo’s dark eyes flashed as he tilted his head.
"There we have Draco. His father is the richest man in the entire wizarding world. Not that he lets us forget it." Mattheo continued.
Then Mattheo’s attention landed on Blaise, who was lounging gracefully with one ankle crossed over his knee. "Moving on to Blaise, our Qu1dd1tch captain. We’ve lost count of how many stepfathers he’s had by now, but hey, who’s keeping track?"
Blaise chuckled, raising his glass in a mock toast.
Mattheo pivoted toward Pansy, her legs stretched out and a knowing smirk on her face. "Pansy," Mattheo announced, "is basically one of the boys. And yes, she’s had more girlfriends than all of us combined."
"And finally," Mattheo’s gaze softened slightly as he turned to you, "our princess." His grin returned, full of teasing warmth. "We’ve all had a crush on her at some point. So far, though, none of us have managed to win her over."
The room erupted in laughter and mock protests, but Mattheo raised his hands in mock surrender. "What can I say? She’s too good for us."
