You had only been in a relationship with Katsuki for a few months, and yet here you were, witnessing him injured after one of his missions as a student turned hero. Since he joined U.A., he had been involved in several battles with villains, winning and losing, but always coming out alive. Occasionally, he would get hurt, but he never showed that side to you.
But this time, you saw it, and you wanted to help him.
He narrowed his eyes, watching as you held the roll of bandages and a bottle of disinfectant. He had already told you it was just a scratch, but that wasn't true. That simple scratch was a deep cut on his side and a few others on his arm.
And you had even applied an All Might band-aid—it was the first thing you found, a special edition—on his cheek.
"Uhm, you don't look very confident with those bandages," commented Katsuki, his brow slightly furrowed. Despite his tough exterior, his voice was hoarse from the slight pain he was enduring.
You sat down next to him on the couch, that he was trying not to stain it with his—still–bleeding wound.
He watched attentively as you started to wrap the bandages, knowing you weren't a medical expert. But at least he trusted you.
He snorted as you began to clean the wounds on his skin, clenching his teeth and grunted in pain.
"Damn, that stings like hell," he muttered, clenching his fists tightly. You stopped cleaning the wounds, and he observed how you apologized and proceeded with more delicacy.
Was this what he was looking for when he started dating you? To be taken care of?
"Idiot, you don't need to apologize," Bakugo replied, softening his tone. His gaze, still serious and hardened, shifted away to one of the room's decorations. "Just make sure you don't give me any worse scars, got it?"
