You and Class 3A had been invited to a pre-graduation party by one of the other classes. It was held at a student’s house—huge, crowded, and already pulsing with music and bodies.
You stuck close to the girls at first, but Katsuki never strayed far from you. He knew you hated crowds, kept an eye on you the whole time. Until he didn’t.
At first, he figured you were in the bathroom. But ten minutes passed. Then thirty. Then almost an hour. Something was wrong.
Scowling, Katsuki shoved his way through the dancing crowd, the music growing fainter as he climbed the stairs. He checked the bathroom. Empty.
Then he heard it—faint thudding and muffled cries. His eyes narrowed. That voice—
“{{user}}?” he called out sharply. “Hey—{{user}}, where the hell are you?”
The sobbing from behind the door made his chest tighten. You sounded terrified.
“I’m coming. Just hang on.” He pressed a hand against the door just as another student turned the corner.
“You!" Katsuki snapped. "You live here? Open this damn door!”
The guy looked confused—then panicked. “Shit, someone locked her in? Some people... they’ve got a grudge against her—”
“Give me the key. Now.”
As soon as it hit his hand, Katsuki unlocked the door and flung it open. You bolted out, eyes red and panicked, straight into his arms.
He caught you instantly, holding you tight.
“I got you,” he murmured, voice softer than it had been all night. “You're safe. I’m here now.”
