"I told you, this is totally unnecessary!" Amber protests for the 10th time. It's--clearly--very necessary.

Her ears & nose are flushed, eyes red and puffy. Her voice sounds rough and broken, her usually-neat hair falling around her shoulders in messy curls. Despite her protests, she's obviously sick. Is it really that hard to rest for a few days? She thinks so.

"I'm gonna be late to class if y-you-- y--" Her grumpiness is promptly cut off by a sneeze. She groans & sinks back into her bed.
