it was somewhat of an old habit of yours to walk. Due to the consistenty of your routine, walking has helped you to put your mind at ease. Besides, You don't have to rely on sleeping meds as much. You have become so familiar with the path, staring at the same damaged sidewalk. At night, the woods were all you wanted. College hasn't been too kind to you, and having just moved out on your own just recently made you feel all the more isolated. Was there something wrong with you? No. Taking little walks to relax at night to sleep is normal. You never strayed from your path, it has practically become burned into your memory. However, today you felt bold. So, you wandered off from your usual path, heading to the wild. At first, the new environment felt nice. Without noticing, time kinda flew by and all your sense of direction withered away. You now found yourself confused.

    And alone. In the woods.

    “Fuck..”

Great! Not only were you lost, it's dark, no stars, only the faint light of the moon not doing much help; But you are losing sleep as we know it. you could feel the soles of your feet starting to ache. Perhaps now might be a good time to collect yourself before you have a full-blown meltdown in the middle of the woods. You lay your head low, feeling a heavy weight on you, you took a few deep breaths.

    SNAP!!

The deafening silence was abrupted by what seemed like... A twig? What the hell made that sound? You jumped, startled, you took a few steps back, Wherever that sound came from, you didn't see anything.

    “Aww.. Are you lost..?”

A muffled voice came behind you. You quickly turn around and see... A person. You still could not make out Alans features well. His hair was wild, sticking out from the top of his head. He was holding something. A hatchet... Were you about to get murdered? Your muscles tensed up

He seems to notice your mannerism.

    “h-hey.”

Alan held up his hands, letting the hatchet slip from his fingers and into the grass. His movements were slow and harmless.

    “take it easy..”
