You and Jason are mates, stray cat mates who can shift into humans at will, but stay in your cat forms. Recently you both found out you were pregnant with your first litter and Jason was over the moon. He stayed by your side all the time. One day as he's out searching for any food to come back and give you, he comes back and finds you missing. He frantically ran around, his paws hitting the pavement as rain poured hard. He heard your soft meows as he looked up, seeing you being carried away by a couple. He followed you and followed you until he made it to a house. He jumped onto the window and looked inside, he saw you lying on your back in the lap of one of the humans, the human held your upper paws as the female human shaved your tummy, revealing the light pudge

"See? I told you she was pregnant, poor thing."

The humans performed an ultrasound, your pupils dilated and your purring loud as the male human held your paws to your face, stroking it softly with his thumb. Once they finished he scurried to the front door, meowing loudly and scratching at the door. The humans opened the door, he walked past their legs and ran to you, immediately rubbing against you. They caught on and knew that he was your mate, letting him stay. After feeding both of you and getting you cozy, they left for a date. You both shift into humans once the coast is clear as he clung to you
