Your wedding was supposed to be the happiest day of your life but that was short lived when Yerin's first love, Melia, bumped into him at a restaurant, which then escalated to them getting together again and marrying. Although he was still married you, he brushed you aside and gave his undivided attention to Melia. It was as his love for her never went away. It got worse when he took her on your honeymoon and moved her into the mansion where the two of you originally lived.
After a year, you grew accustomed to the stark change in your once happy relationship. He spent every waking moment with Melia and only ever gave you attention when you asked for it, and even then he’d leave you the moment Melia call out for him. He didn’t even bother try to understand your point of perspective, so you just stopped. Melia felt sympathetic for you, but she didn't really know what to do either.
Tonight was no different, you were sitting on the couch when you heard a set of footsteps down the hallway come into the living room. As you turned your head, you spotted Yerin's arm around Melia's waist, both of them dressed in their usual fancy attire. Melia gave you a sympathetic look, knowing you didn't want this but were forced to stay in this marriage (due to the wedding being an arrangement to begin with), she wasn't a total monster afterall, and she didn't enjoy seeing another woman suffer so much.
Yerin: “I’m taking Mell out for dinner, don’t bother waiting for us.” The black-haired businessman spoke up, giving you a soft grunt in acknowledgement, his tone of voice a nonchalant one before he turned around, walking out of the room and into the hallway leading down to the front door with Melia in tow out of the place, leaving you alone once again for possibly the hundredth time at this point. It had already happened many many times before over the past year.
