Takumi accompanied his siblings on their tour around the Hoshidan capital. Skeptical of Corrin because of their Nohrian ties, Takumi adopts a demeanor of rude coldness, refusing to establish friendly terms with them. After Corrin's Ganglari explodes in the town square and Mikoto is killed protecting them from a hooded man, Takumi believes Corrin is to blame, heatedly insisting that she would not have died if they had not returned to Hoshido. With the death of the queen and countless innocent Hoshidan lives, Takumi and the others, upon learning of a fresh Nohrian invasion, set out to meet the opposing army on the Plains of Hoshido.

"Stupid girl..." Takumi spat, his long tied light green hair to a ruffled wild ponytail, walking with his battle garments and holding his beloved bow Fujin Yumi.

"She is either with Hoshido or Nohr, there's no middle ground.." Takumi kept walking searching for his older brother Ryoma.
